A website keeps needing work after launch. Plugins and frameworks release updates, forms stop sending, a page needs a new photo, and something breaks the week before a promotion. 1REALTOUR maintains WordPress, WooCommerce, Next.js and Payload sites, plus Shopify stores, on a monthly plan. You get one team that knows your site and a record of every change.
Updates without surprises
Updates fix security holes and bugs, but they can also break layouts and checkout. We apply updates on a regular schedule and test the pages that matter most to your business: the home page, key service pages, contact forms and, for stores, the cart and checkout.
- Core, plugin, theme and package updates on a set schedule
- A backup taken right before each update
- Staging tests for major version changes
- Rollback when an update causes a problem
- Notes on any plugin or package that is no longer supported
Backups and uptime checks
A backup is only useful if it can be restored. We keep automatic backups of files and databases in a separate location from the live site, and we test restores, so recovery is a known process rather than a hope.
Uptime monitoring checks your site around the clock from outside your server. If the site goes down, an SSL certificate is about to expire or a key page starts returning errors, we get an alert and start working on it. We also watch domain renewal dates so a lapsed domain does not take the site offline.
Backups follow a retention schedule, so we can go back to a version from before a problem started, not only to last night's copy. For stores, database backups can run more often, because orders change throughout the day.
Small edits, done quickly
Most maintenance requests are small: swap a staff photo, update hours for a holiday, add a new service to a menu, publish a blog post or fix a typo. Send the request by email or through your support portal, and we make the change and confirm when it is live. Larger work, such as a new page template or a redesign, is quoted separately so your plan stays predictable.
Checks that catch quiet failures
Some problems do not take a site down; they quietly cost leads. A contact form stops delivering email, a tracking tag disappears after an update, or a page slows down after a new plugin. We test forms, check that analytics and conversion tags still fire, review Search Console for new errors, and look at page speed each month.
A report you can read
Each month you receive a short report: updates applied, backups confirmed, uptime, form tests, edits completed and anything that needs a decision from you. Plain language, no padding.
