Self-Hosted Business Software

We set up and run self-hosted apps such as Twenty CRM, n8n, Documenso and FreeScout, so you own your data without becoming a server administrator.

Self-hosted business software runs on infrastructure you control instead of a vendor's shared cloud. 1REALTOUR installs, configures, secures and maintains open-source and source-available business applications for clients, including Twenty CRM, n8n workflow automation, Documenso e-signatures and the FreeScout help desk. It suits businesses that want control of their data, fewer per-user subscription fees or features they cannot get from hosted plans.

Applications we deploy

Twenty CRM

Twenty is an open-source CRM with a modern interface for contacts, companies, deals and custom objects. It can be self-hosted and extended through its API. We set up pipelines and fields around your sales process and import your existing contacts.

n8n

n8n is a workflow automation tool that connects apps, APIs and AI services. It is source-available under its Sustainable Use License, a fair-code license, and the free Community edition can be self-hosted. Running it yourself keeps workflow data on your own infrastructure. The license permits use for your own internal business purposes, which covers the automations most businesses build.

Documenso

Documenso is an open-source document signing platform licensed under AGPL-3.0. Self-hosting keeps contracts and signed documents under your control. We configure templates, signing workflows and email delivery.

FreeScout

FreeScout is an open-source help desk and shared mailbox, licensed under AGPL-3.0. Emails from customers arrive in shared folders where your team can assign, reply and add notes. We connect your mailboxes and set up the modules you need.

Why self-host, and why not

Self-hosting gives you ownership of the data, control over where it lives and freedom from per-seat pricing changes. It also means someone has to install updates, watch for problems, take backups and handle security. Most small businesses should not do that themselves. That is the part 1REALTOUR handles.

Self-hosting is not always the right call. If a hosted plan does what you need at a fair price and your data requirements are simple, we will tell you. We also check each application's license so your intended use fits its terms. Where a vendor offers both a hosted and a self-hosted version, we compare the features in each, because some features are limited to paid or hosted plans.

How we run them

  • Each application runs in its own container with pinned, tested versions
  • HTTPS on your own subdomain, with single sign-on and multi-factor authentication where supported
  • Regular updates applied after testing, with a rollback path
  • Encrypted off-site backups of databases and files, with tested restores
  • Uptime and security monitoring with alerts to our team
  • Email delivery set up with proper SPF, DKIM and DMARC records

We also connect the apps to each other and to your website. A form on your site can create a CRM record, start an n8n workflow and open a help desk ticket, without anyone copying data between systems. Because everything runs on infrastructure you control, those connections do not depend on a third-party integration service.

Frequently asked questions

What is self-hosted business software?

Which self-hosted apps does 1REALTOUR run for clients?

Who maintains self-hosted software after setup?
1REALTOUR maintains self-hosted software after setup, including updates, backups, monitoring and security fixes. The client's team uses the applications without needing to manage servers.
Is self-hosting cheaper than a SaaS subscription?
Self-hosting can cost less than per-user SaaS subscriptions for growing teams, but it includes hosting and maintenance costs. 1REALTOUR compares the options for each application before recommending one. Contact 1REALTOUR for a quote.
