Managed WordPress Hosting

Hosting tuned for WordPress and WooCommerce, with a care plan on top: tested updates, staging, PHP upgrades, plugin reviews and performance work.

Generic hosting keeps a server running. Managed WordPress hosting also looks after the WordPress install on that server: its plugins, theme, PHP version, database and speed. Our managed hosting page covers the server side, including backups, SSL and security. This page covers the WordPress care plans that 1REALTOUR adds on top, for businesses that want one team responsible for both the hosting and the site.

Built around how WordPress works

WordPress sites slow down and break for predictable reasons: too many plugins, a bloated database, an old PHP version, a page builder loading every asset on every page, or caching that conflicts with a store's cart. A care plan addresses those causes directly instead of adding more server power.

  • Server and page caching configured for WordPress, with cart, checkout and account pages excluded for WooCommerce
  • Object caching for database-heavy sites and stores
  • Scheduled database cleanup of revisions, transients and expired sessions
  • Image compression and modern formats
  • Real cron jobs so scheduled posts, emails and store tasks run on time

Page builders such as Elementor are convenient for editors but can load large amounts of code. We turn off unused widgets and features, load assets only where they are used and keep templates consistent, so the site stays editable without getting slower each year.

Staging and tested updates

Care plans include a staging copy of your site. Major updates to WordPress core, WooCommerce, page builders and key plugins are tried on staging first. We check the pages and flows that matter to you, then apply the update to the live site with a fresh backup in place. Minor and security releases go out promptly, because waiting on a known vulnerability is the larger risk.

PHP and compatibility management

PHP versions reach end of life on a fixed schedule, and older WordPress sites often sit on a version that no longer gets security fixes. We test your plugins and theme against newer PHP versions on staging, fix or replace what fails, and switch the live site once it passes. The same review flags plugins that have been closed or abandoned.

Plugin and theme reviews

Before adding a plugin, we check its update history, support activity and known vulnerabilities, and whether the feature can be done with code you already have. On a regular schedule we review the installed list, remove what is unused and note anything that should be replaced. Premium plugins and themes are kept on valid licenses so they continue to receive updates.

Support from people who know your site

Care plans include small edits, troubleshooting and questions about how to do something in WordPress or Elementor. Requests go to the same team that hosts and maintains the site, so there is no back-and-forth between a host and a developer about whose problem it is. Contact us for a quote.

  3. Step 3

    Tune

We set up caching, clean the database, update PHP and clear overdue updates.

  4. Step 4

    Care

We handle updates, reviews, support and monitoring each month and send a report.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between managed hosting and managed WordPress hosting?
Managed hosting covers the server: uptime, backups, security patches and SSL. Managed WordPress hosting adds care for the WordPress install itself, such as tested plugin and core updates, PHP upgrades, caching tuned for WordPress and WooCommerce, and help with the site. 1REALTOUR offers both, and the WordPress care plans sit on top of our managed hosting.
Do you test WordPress updates before applying them?
Yes. 1REALTOUR tests major updates to WordPress core, WooCommerce, page builders and important plugins on a staging copy before applying them to the live site. Minor and security releases are applied promptly with a backup taken first. If an update causes a problem, we roll it back.
Can you host a WooCommerce store?
Yes. 1REALTOUR hosts WooCommerce stores with caching rules that exclude cart, checkout and account pages, object caching for faster queries and scheduled database cleanup. We test checkout after every significant update.
Will you move my WordPress site from my current host?
Yes. 1REALTOUR migrates WordPress sites from other hosts, including files, database, email settings where needed and DNS. The site is tested on a temporary address before the switch, so visitors do not see a broken version.
Why does my WordPress site need a newer PHP version?
Each PHP version stops receiving security fixes after its support period ends. Running an unsupported PHP version leaves the server exposed and blocks newer plugin releases. 1REALTOUR tests the site on a supported PHP version in staging, fixes incompatible code and then upgrades the live site.
